Divinty: Original Sin 2 is a glorious homage and classic-style isometric RPG that feels completely modernized, with 4 player cop, great aspects, and extreme challenging combat that makes heavy use of physical interactions. For instance cast a rain spell to put out fires or splash oil around to spread them. The combat is best you’ll find in the genre. It relies on agile thinking and innovative elemental combos rather than random dice rolls.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is aging like a lovely wine. Even after it hit the street several years before, it’s still one of the most remarkable open world games that have ever existed.

The Witcher 3 follows Geralt, the world’s grumpiest-creature slaying bounty hunter. The game has the northern kingdoms, inspired by the European mythology, which are inhabited by fascinating creatures and more importantly, multi-dimensional characters.

The Hitman series is the ultimate murderous playground which has been mainstay in video games since the days of PS2, but the soft reboot in 2016 made the series so enjoyable. The Hitman 2 is full of incredible, tense and sometimes hilarious mission, in which Agent 47 has been taking contracts and beating off targets in game.

XCOM 2 is a slick, brutal strategy that doesn’t care about your feelings and puts you in charge of a resistance force during an alien occupation. As you battle with aliens you’ll get linked to your squad, boosting them, customizing their gear and building personalities for them in their head. And then one wrong move will get their face torn off brutally.

Some of the most popular PC games in 2021 are coming from smaller developers. Into the Breach almost feels like puzzle game because it screens you the clear information on what the enemy is doing every turn and it is so well-balanced that there’s mostly always a solution that will get you out of a mission alive.

And it has almost endless replayability. If you defeat the final boss you can try again with a new squad that is completely different. And even if you lose, you can load up another round that is completely a fresh set of challenges.

GTA 5 still consistently tops the charts, and boasts incredible Steam stats years after its release. Its open world is still the excellent of any genre. It’s a world that calls to you, begging for you to speed across it on a motorbike and cars, have a lot of fun between traffic as you go. Rockstar’s crime series mostly attracts headlines because of its brutality, violence, and assaults but still GTA 5 is one of the best sandbox games on PC.

Rainbow Six Siege is one of the best multiplayer shooter games on PC. Siege’s learning curve is dauntingly steep – but eventually you find yourself picking operators, map spots, and roles that you’re comfortable with. Ubisoft continues to four major updates per year along with regular fixes and it continues supporting the title.

The game is more than a decade old but it’s still one of the best PC games for creators. Minecraft it is much like “build it, and they will come”.  In Minecraft, you can construct your own worlds using resources which you’ll find in the wild. You can also find the existing resources created by other players online.
