The park authorities set up safari walks, boat trips, and kayak. They also organize jeep safari which starts at sunrise and ends at 11.00 hrs whereas evening safari starts at 2.30 hrs and ends at sunset and the timings may differ as per season.

Jeep safari can be done by three routes, Lagda Route, Keria Route, and Churna Route. The longest route is Churna Route which is spread over 30 kms. By Air:  Raja Bhoj Airport of Bhopal city is the nearest to the park (Approx. 209 Kms) and in addition, it is well connected by multiple flights from Mumbai, New Delhi and other parts of the country. Other options to reach via air are Nagpur airport (274 kms), and Jabalpur airport (368 kms).

By Rail: The nearest railway stations to reach the park is Pipariya (Approx. 50 Km), Bhopal (Approx. 140 Km), and Jabalpur (Aprrox. 260 Km)

By Road: Satpura National Park is approximately at a distance of 180 kms from the city of Bhopal, 360 Kms from Jabalpur, 360 Kms from Chindwara, and 265 kms from Nagpur.

Best Time to Visit Satpura

Satpura National park remains open for tourists from 1st of October to 30th of June and is restricted during the monsoon period. The park is suitable to visit in all the seasons because it has so much to offer.
